Communications

The Communications Committee is in charge of disseminating AIGA Upstate New York content through various marketing channels. This information includes local event notifications, updates from the AIGA National, and information that New York Designers may find interesting or useful.

Since our communications are more than just web based, the Communications Committee looks holistically at this website, our email, and a handful of social networking channels. Our philosophy is to be where our members are, while speaking in the medium that they want to hear.

The committee currently consists of the following positions all of whom report to the Communications Director:

  • Web Coordinator
  • Email Coordinator
  • Newsletter Coordinator
  • Social Media Coordinator (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter)
  • Flickr Director
