ENGAGE CNY, as part of its regional cultural planning, is amassing the first ever inventory of arts, culture, historic, and heritage resources in the six-county region (Cortland, Herkimer, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga, and Oswego Counties).

Arts, Culture, History and Heritage Organizations
CNY Arts would like to hear from nonprofit organizations that focus on creative offerings of any kind. In addition to these mission-specific arts, culture, history, and heritage organizations, we also want to inventory non-arts organizations” for whom creativity is a vital component of their offerings.

Individual Artists, Musicians, Filmmakers, Designers, Architects, Historians, Writers, Crafters…

CNY Arts is working to create a comprehensive, geotagged database of individuals that actively pursue creative endeavors in the region.
Based upon these survey responses and additional branches of research, CNY Arts will create a map of the cultural assets across Central New York. This impressive picture of our industry – both organizations and individuals – will be used as a tool to advocate for increased government and private support. In addition, your point of view will be essential to the formation of a regional cultural plan that will have far-reaching implications on the future of arts and culture in our region.
