7th Annual AIGA Upstate New York Student Portfolio Review (Syracuse)

AIGA Upstate New York Chapter invites the 2015 graduating graphic design students of Central New York to our 7th Annual Student Portfolio Review.

NOTE: Additional portfolio reviews will take place in Rochester (March 4) and Schenectady (April 7)

EVENT

The portfolio review is a chance for you to practice your interview skills and get valuable feedback about your design work, portfolio presentation and résumé from local professionals in a no-risk, non-competitive environment. 

WHY SHOULD YOU ATTEND?
You will receive objective advice and criticism in a one-on-one setting with local design educators, professional designers and potential employers. Although this event is not a job fair, some reviewers may be looking for potential employees or interns. This event is a great way to discuss your work, network, and become aware of who's who in your local design community.

WHO CAN ATTEND?
All college seniors, upcoming 2015 graduates, MA and MFA candidates are welcome to attend. The maximum capacity for this event is 40 students.

COST
AIGA MEMBERS: $10
Student Non-Members: $20

WHAT TO BRING
Bring 12-15 pieces of the best work in your portfolio, as well as multiple copies of your résumé and and business cards. If you plan to show interactive or rich-media work please bring a fully charged laptop or tablet.

Free parking is available in the University Ave parking lot across from the entrance to Newhouse 3 on S. Crouse Ave. See campus map.
