Hey all! Given the current state of things with the global pandemic, we are still keeping all of our events virtual, and that includes our annual board retreat and community meeting! I miss seeing all your lovely faces, but I think an in person gathering just isn't the right move right now.
AIGA Upstate New York will host its Annual Board Retreat and Community Meeting on Sunday August 16th from 10am - 1pm on the chapter Zoom.
During the retreat, we will discuss current initiatives, future goals and share thoughts about how to advance our Chapter. We usually use this event as an opportunity to hold a community meeting as well, which we will be doing this year too! You do not need to be a chapter board or AIGA member to attend this portion, we want to hear from anyone in the Upstate NY design community who wants to contribute or even just listen in to see what we're up to.
10-10:50am: 2019-2020 chapter recap + updates from board members
10:50am-12pm: Looking ahead to 2020-2021
12-1pm: Chapter community meeting + discussion (open to non-board members). Come prepared with your ideas of how we can improve the chapter and ensure we are doing as much as we can to serve the Upstate New York design community as best we can!
1pm- hang out and catch up if the Zoom Fatigue hasn't gotten the best of us.
