AIGA UPSTNY + Spare Time Poughkeepsie hosts Designsgiving in the Hudson Valley

As we approach the end of the year, project deadlines get closer, schedules get busier, and us creatives have less and less time to just make. That’s why AIGA UPSTNY Hudson Valley is joining forces with Spare Time Poughkeepsie and throwing our very first Designsgiving event. Come on over to IBM Studios Poughkeepsie Wednesday, November 15th and join us for a food and craft potluck.

In addition to snacks and paper hand turkey crafts galore, Adaoha Uzoho-Onyekwelu of Spare Time Poughkeepsie will host a Kindness Rocks session. Adaoha leads Spare Time out of IBM Studios Poughkeepsie in order to bring people together to make. The Kindness Rocks session helps to inspire others through randomly placed rocks in hopes that anyone that stumbles upon them would join in the pursuit of inspiring others through random acts of kindness. Please join us and take a moment to decorate a rock, share a kind message, and help make someone else’s day brighter.

Everyone is welcome to bring their favorite snack, or fall craft, and come together with your favorite Hudson Valley creative pals to take some time away from our screens and to make with our hands. See you there!

Space is limited, so please make sure to register! After you sign up you will be asked if you cn bring an item for the potluck.
