2013-2014 Board Member Candidates

MichelleBersaniMichelle Bersani | Education Director
Michelle Bersani is a freelance designer specializing in identity design and brand development. She also teaches at Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications in the Multimedia, Photography and Design department.

Michelle was previously art director and lead designer at TAG Group, providing strategic design and production leadership on all projects. She graduated from the S.I. Newhouse School in 2009, where she majored in graphic design with a specialization in public relations.

Her honors include the Central New York 40 Under Forty and CNY SME Sales & Marketing Excellence awards.

 

Jason OcchipintiJason Occhipinti | Communications Director
Jason Occhipinti is a co-founder of Positive+Space, an agency startup located in Central New York. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor with the State University of New York (SUNY) System as well as a Senior Web Designer and Graphic Designer for BAE Systems, the second largest defense contractor in the world.

He is a Fellowship recipient from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) where in 2011 he obtained his MFA in Graphic Design. As an undergraduate in 2004 he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree from the State University of New York Institute of Technology (SUNYIT).

His work has been recognized by Adobe, SCAD, SUNY, and through various inter-company awards.
