Call for Nominations to the AIGA Upstate New York Board
The AIGA Upstate New York Chapter is currently seeking nominations for open board positions.  Help shape the future of our chapter by nominating yourself or another community leader. We are seeking dedicated design professionals with a passion for advancing our craft and strengthening our creative community.

These positions are critical in ensuring the continued growth and stability of our chapter. It’s guiding principle is one of leaving the chapter stronger at the end of one’s term than it was in the beginning.

There are two ways to be nominated for AIGA Upstate New York board positions:

Peer: Anyone who feels a particular individual will enhance the quality of leadership of the board may nominate that person.

Self: Anyone willing to participate and to fulfill the obligations of the open executive positions may self-nominate.

The nominee need not be a member at the time of nomination, but will be required to join AIGA if elected to a board position.

Open positions
While candidates are elected to the board generally, all board members do hold a chair position. Priority is given to those candidates whose interests and skill sets match currently available positions. Positions currently available are Membership, Programming, Sponsorship and Committee Members.
