President’s Letter

Dear Creative Community,

I first want to wish everyone a happy and healthy Holiday Season!

During this busy time of year I want to remind everyone to continue to think of others and our community. Most of our days we get caught up in the things we need to do – our routine. Have you ever thought about your communities routine, what support or resources are lacking, or could they benefit from, or would help them thrive? You would be surprised at the little things you can do to help.

Here are a few ways you can help out this year:

Donate.
Your services or products to those who will benefit.

Teach.
Help people help themselves. Teach an organization to maintain its own website, take time to teach students/younger generation – make a long-term impact.

Volunteer.
Serving food to the homeless, your child’s school, local non-profit organization and many more.

And while getting a return on your ‘doing good’ investment is not the ultimate goal, you will certainly benefit from the exposure and act of kindness. Also remember that giving should be voluntary, not mandatory.

In closing for this year, I again wish everyone a happy Holiday Season and look forward to what the New Year has to bring!

Yours,
Sarah Burns
