SyracuseSync Recap

Thanks to everyone who participated in SyracuseSync, the one-day event for web design professionals in Central New York, co-sponsored by AIGA Upstate New York. SyracuseSync is the brainchild of WSOL’s Dan Rose, with the goal of bringing together web designers from our local community to network and share their skillsets and experiences with one another.

This event featured local designers from various agencies, including WSOL, Rounded, StressDesign, Mindshare, and Positive+Space, as well as our own AIGA Upstate New York Chapter! The talks were broken out into morning and afternoon sessions with subjects ranging from wireframing, in-house design, intranets, and iterative design processes. Our Chapter President, Sarah Burns also gave talk on the AIGA, how our community connects, and some of the great programming we have to offer over the next year.

It’s hard to describe how great it was to be a part of this event, and we’re definitely looking forward to future Syncs. For more information about the event, and the speakers, check out www.syracusesync.com.  A recap is also available at www.syracusesync.com/makesyracuse.
